With his 2000 album, THE HOUR OF BEWILDERBEAST, British singer-songwriter Damon Gough, better known as Badly Drawn Boy, broke through to the mainstream as the reigning bedroom pop auteur of the UK. His fragile, melodic, '60s-influenced style topped polls on both sides of the Atlantic. In 2002, he wormed his way into the hearts of filmgoers as well, providing the soundtrack for the popular Hugh Grant film ABOUT A BOY.
