About Billy Dean Ringtones
Billy Dean was raised in Quincy, FL, the son of William Harold "Billy" Dean. His dad, a very talented singer, played in a band at the American Legion Hall so Harold grew up with the role model of a man who could have made it in music but chose to put his family first. The example his father set stuck with him so much that, when at 20 he moved to Nashville to try his luck in music, he changed his name from "Harold" to "Billy" in honor of his late father. With the new name and identity came hit song after hit song. However, Billy felt like he was also losing touch with young Harold who terrorized the neighborhood on his bike and idolized his father, the talented singer and family man. So, Billy Dean began to redefine his role in the music industry. Touring was drawing him away from his kids so he began to move away from performing, a decision that led him to help aspiring musicians, such as Brent Rader and Clara Oman, produce CDs and find their musical careers. Billy Dean has also helped companies, such as Averitt Express, Qualcomm and SunKist, develop their brand through music.
