Popular rockers Buckcherry formed in Los Angeles and made their way across the L.A. club scene before become an American success. Singer Joshua Todd and guitarist Keith Nelson met via their tattoo artist who knew of their shared love for AC/DC. Shortly after Todd and Nelson hooked up, they added guitarist Yogi, bassist Jonathan Brightman and drummer Devon Glenn to the band. Their 2006 album called 15 gave Buckcherry their biggest hits yet, "Crazy B-tch" and their first top 100 hit, "Sorry". Before Sorry, they had some success under DreamWorks Records with the songs "Check Your Head" and "For the Movies" off of their self-titled 1999 album. In 2005, they recruited a new drummer, Xavier Muriel, a new bassist, Jimmy Ashhurst, and a new guitarist, Steven Dacanay. Their new album Black Butterfly will be released in the fall of 2008.
