Cheyenne Kimball is a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Texas. Her first album was released in July 2006 entitled, The Day Has Come. Cheyenne's first single was from that album and entitled, "Hanging On." The Day Has Come registered on The Billboard 200 chart at No. 15 as its peak performance.nnCheyenne began a tour across the country in April 2006 to promote her album. She also appeared on an MTV show called, "Cheyenne," which aired in MaynnIn October 2006, a single from Cheyenne's first album was released entitled, "One Original Thing." This second single of Cheyenne's was also included on the soundtrack of the teen movie, "Aquamarine." In January 2007, yet another single from The Day Has Come was released entitled, "Four Walls."nnCheyenne performed in the 2006 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. On December 5, 2006, a DVD from a reality show Cheyenne had participated in was released.nnThere's a great story about how Cheyenne got into the music business. She wrote her very first song at the age of eight to apologize to her sister, at her mother's insistence, for some mean behavior. The name of that song was, "All I Want Is You." That was the beginning. After that, Cheyenne would write songs every day and she taught herself how to play the guitar. She had written approximately 200 songs by the age of 12.nnCheyenne, possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, booked her own shows at local clubs around the north central Texas area. In 2003, Cheyenne appeared on America's Most Talented Kid and won first place. When Sony/Epic Records heard her, they decided to sign her to a multi-record deal.nnCheyenne has a new album that is expected to be released in the summer of 2008.
