Diddy was born on November 4, 1969. His birth name is Sean John Combs. He has a nickname Puffy and his recording name is P.Diddy. He worked as the producer of MTV's reality show "Making the Band." According to 2006 records, he has a net worth of $346 Million. Uptown Records was a stepping stone for his career. He was the founder of Bad Boy Records, an early New York based rap label. Though he made a gospel album named "Thank You," he was unable to release it. Diddy has worked with Britney Spears and N'Sync. He agreed to work with the pop girl group Dream (band) based in California, along with Bad Boys Records. Diddy performed during N Sync's Spring 2002 Celebrity Tour. In the year 2002, Diddy produced "Making the Band 2," a reality show on MTV. This was the second half of "Making the Band," which had been broadcast earlier. "No Way Out" is the debut album Diddy recorded in 1997. It secured the Grammy Award for the best rap album in the year 1998. He got the Grammy Award for the single "I'll Be Missing You" which was a tribute to his friend and musical collaborator, the murdered rapper Biggie Smalls (aka Notorious BIG.) In August 24, 1999 he released the "Forever" album which was a great success. The "Saga Continues" was the second album done by him in 2001. "We Invented the Remix" was an album released by him in 2002 and certified platinum for selling 1,000,000 copies. In 2004 he got the Grammy Award for the single "Shake Ya Tailfeather." He released an album named "Press Play" in 2006. In 2007, he released the remix version of the album "Press Play." In addition to all his achievements in the field of music, he participated in the New York City Marathon in 2003 and reached his destination within 4 hrs 18 minutes. He appeared in an interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about the marathon. An amount of $2,000,000 was his contribution towards furthering the educational system of the children in New York. For the Presidential election in the year 2004, he led the campaign "Vote or Die." A fashion designer in his own right, Diddy has been getting CFDA Awards for Menswear designing.
