Donny Osmond, famous in his own right and as part of The Osmond Family, is a very well-known music artist. The album, What I Meant To Say, was released in the United Kingdom in 2004. At the time of its release, Donny considered it his best album up to that point. Following this, in January 11, 2005, Donny Osmond released his 54th album. Donny then starred as 'Gaston,' in the Broadway production of Beauty and The Beast. He joined the cast in September 2006, but Donny was there for the production's 5,000th performance earlier that year, and it was he who introduced the celebrated cast to the audience. On January 24, 2007, Donny released, 'Love Songs of the 70s.' This was a special album to Donny as it contains a collection of some very memorable romantic pop hits and R&B ballads of the 1970's era. Some songs on the album are: 'How Deep Is Your Love,' 'Laughter in the Rain,' 'You Are So Beautiful,' 'Oh, Girl,' 'Let's Stay Together,' and 'If.' All the songs on the album are legendary singles from that musical time. In March 2007, Donny appeared in Seattle on the 'Northwest Afternoon Seattle Show.' Also in March, Donny performed at The Orleans in Las Vegas. A month later in April 2007, Donny was seen at the Feinsteins at the Regency in New York City. In August 2007, Donny participated in the Osmond's 50th Anniversary Television Special, taped in Las Vegas, Nevada. In July, Donny sang at Princess Diana's Birthday Concert, with proceeds going to young people with disabilities. In June 2007, Donny had a special outdoor performance in the United Kingdom at Cyfarthfa Castle to help raise funds for the Prince of Wales Hospital. September 2007 brought performances in Atlantic City, New Jersey; Cleveland, Ohio; New York City; Sterling Heights, Michigan; Waukegan, Illinois, Tiffin, Ohio; and Joliet, Illinois. In October 2007, he began a United Kingdom tour in the following locations: London, Brighton, Bournemouth, Plymouth Pavilions, Nottingham, Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, and Belfast.
