About Half Japanese

Brothers Jad and David Fair formed Half Japanese over 25 years ago, in the heyday of punk. Since then, they've played numerous shows all over the world (including an opening spot on Nirvana's last U.S. tour) and released more than 20 albums here and abroad (most of which are now out of print). They are the subjects of a full-length motion picture that chronicles the history of the band and the making of the group's Fire In The Sky album (Safe House SH-2113-2). Greatest Hits, compiled by Jad himself, offers up the very best of the group's illustrious recording career, including gems from Charmed Life - Half Gentlemen, Not Beasts - Our Solar System - Sing No Evil - and Fire In The Sky . This 2 CD - 3 LP set, wrapped in Jad &David's unique artwork and Byron Coley's liner notes, contains nearly 2-1 - 2 hours of music69 songs, including several previously unreleased tracks.
