About Jesse McCartney
Teen pop star Jesse McCartney started out as a child performer acting on Broadway and acting in soap operas before joining the boy band that began his music career. This boy band was known as Dream Street, and the young guys of Dream Street achieved platinum success with their first album. Jesse also had a successful run at television acting in 2004 on the WB show 'Summerland'. His album Beautiful Soul was released in 2004, the single Beautiful Soul featured R&B influenced singing with pop beats. He followed with Right Where You Want Me in 2006, and his third album, Departure, in 2008. McCartney also co-wrote Leona Lewis' mega-hit "Bleeding Love" alongside OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.
