Kardinal Offishall is one of Canada's best-known hip hop artists and producers. Born in Ontario, Offishall laces his sound with reggae dancehall flavor. He first broke in 1996, with the singe "Naughty Dread: which won a Juno award. His 1997 debut album Eye & I followed, scoring him another Juno. He's released three studio albums since then and a string of mixtapes and singles, including "BaKardi Slang" and "Heads Up". He still performs and is a much in-demand guest artist, most famous for his rhymes on the remix of the Clipse's "Grindin'" and his recent work with Canadian artist Bedouin Soundclash
