About Latterman

It's like this- LATTERMAN rules. With shouted vocals, screaming guitars and pounded drums, the band's second full-length NO MATTER WHERE WE GO..! is filled with positive, community-minded, socio-political discussion and delivered with an electrifying, reckless abandon. This is throw-your-fists-in-the-air, dance-around, catchy-as-hell punk rock that's sung from the gut and comes from the heart. But punk never sounded THIS good, nor delivered such a timely message. LATTERMAN songs are flat-out impossible to forget, with captivating singalongs (that we guarantee you WILL be singing to in no time at all) and infectious choruses at every turn. Instead of wasting the listener's time with banal tales of high school rejection or worse yet, killing their girlfriends, LATTERMAN strike hard and fast with purpose, conviction, relevance and melodies that will keep you smiling from ear to ear. NO MATTER WHERE WE GO..! easily ranks up there with all other Long Island classics. Oh, and they're really friendly guys too. So turn up the punk and listen LOUDLY. LATTERMAN dedicates this release to positivity, friendship, community and anyone who recognizes and struggles against patriarchy, homophobia, racism, white privilege, alienating wage labor and the world's other flaws. LATTERMAN may not save the world, or even rock and roll, but f**kin' a...they saved me. LATTERMAN is Matt Cannino (vocals, bass), Phil Douglas (vocals, guitar), Mike Campbell (guitar) and Pat Schramm (drums). The band resides in Long Island, New York. NO MATTER WHERE WE GO..! was recorded, mixed and mastered by Phil Douglas in his bedroom (aka- The Hobo House) using a collection of borrowed microphones worth no more than USD - 200. LATTERMAN's acclaimed debut TURN UP THE PUNK, WE'LL BE SINGING (DER-443) will be re-released by Deep Elm Records on November 8, 2005. NO MATTER WHERE WE GO..! (DER-442) is scheduled for worldwide release on August 9, 2005. The quality and catchiness of Latterman's songs - ranging from topics of building community, to challenging internalized sexism, to remembering the importance of friends - is matched only by the band members' active commitment to making their words into more than just song lyrics. - Maximumrocknroll Originality and a lot of heart...from the first moment of this one, you can just feel it. - Amp Straight up punk the way it should be. Latterman makes you want to sing right along. - BBC Radio 1 Latterman truly care about punk rock, creating something meaningful and worthwhile. - Punk Planet Bringing the fun back to punk rock with aggressive guitars and great singalongs. - Wonka Vision Amazing punk hardcore from Long Island...brilliant, pure and DIY. - Shredding Paper
