About Lyfe Jennings

Lyfe Jennings is a multi-talented musician who not only sings, plays the guitar, bass and piano, but also writes his own songs and produces records. He is currently a part of the group Natural Born Killers with fellow musicians Nyce KG and is an R&B/soul singer. He lost his father at an early age, went to prison for arson while still very young and after getting out, decided to seriously pursue a solo career in music. He has worked hard to become the songwriter that he is today and for the success that has come of his two full length releases: Lyfe 268-192 (2004) and The Phoenix (2006). The first record did phenomenally well and actually went Platinum; the second followed up strongly with a Gold standing. His third album is due out in 2007 and as stated on Lyfe Jennings' MySpace page will be called Change. Jennings started his career by making a lot of club appearances and it was during these that he won himself something of a following because of the emotional lyrical content of his songs and because of his ability to tackle acoustic versions that were considerable crowd-pleasers. His very soulful approach to R&B couples with the extremity of his very moving lyrics to create a unique style that can be appreciated by a larger audience than just the regular R&B fans. Change is expected to fare quite well given the history of Jennings' record releases, and given the support of his Natural Born Killers fans this R&B artist need not fear for his musical career and financial future. The record is slated for release later in the fall and is being awaited breathlessly by many adoring fans.
