About Ray J
Ray J's high energy R & B is complimented by his smooth voice. His music is fun and up-beat, much like the earlier work of his sister, pop-star Brandy. Like his sister, Ray J has had success in both television and music. He started auditioning for commercials at the age of eight, and caught the attention of Sinbad who cast him on his TV show. After this exposure, Ray J appeared in moves such as Steel and Mars Attacks! Ray J signed with Elektra in 1995, where he recorded Everything You Want. In 1997, his sister's success eclipsed his own and he was dropped from his label. He also appeared on Brandy's show, Moesha. He also started producing, putting together the music for several commercials and a few of the demos for his second record. After an album in 2001, and a long break, Ray J decided to come back with more. With help from Timbaland, R. Kelly, Mya, and Fat Joe, Ray J resurfaced with Raydiation, which was released on Sanctuary. All I Feel, issued through Koch, followed in 2008.
