There are several prodigies that have spawned from the late great Bob Marley, and the Reggae star's son, Stephen Marley, is one of those. In the tradition of his father, Stephen is a Jamaican Reggae musician who has progressed in his career since a very young age. Participating in a group with his siblings called The Melody Makers, Stephen Marley has since collaborated with a wide range of other musicians to produce several singles and covers. In the 1980's he spent most of his musical energy producing records for his brother, Damien. In the last ten years or so he has started to focus on his own musical career.nnThe long-awaited record Mind Control has yet to be released yet it is slated for sometime in the remnants of 2007; Marley has been reworking the tracks for several years now and it is feared by fans that he will put off its release for further remixing. Stephen is an artist who does follow closely in his father's footsteps and, like his siblings, is very influenced by Bob Marley's music and persona. He has performed with other artists and on his own to cover his father's songs; such performances are very well received and have served to drum up interest in a record that has been in the works for a long time now.nnNicknamed "Raggamuffin" by his family, (Stephen comes from a family where each sibling carried their own special nickname, often given to him or her by Bob) Stephen is expected to release Mind Control with a heavy reggae feel that reflects not only the teachings and the legacy of his deceased father but the state of modern society as well. In particular, the single "Winding Road" is highly anticipated and expected to top the charts when and if it is released.
