About The-Dream
The-Dream aka Terius Nash, is a southern raised R&B hip hop talent, born in North Carolina and raised in Georgia. When he graduated from high school, he joined a the vocal group, "Guess Who" signed by local rapper Raheem. That group gained some popularity singing the hook on "Most Beautiful Girl." A few years later, The-Dream started writing songs for up-and-coming rappers and pop stars alike, including Britney Spears, R. Kelly, Sting, Puddle of Mudd, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion, and his wife, Nivea. He and producer Tricky Strewart even created the hit "Umbrella" for Rihanna. The-Dream's first hit single "Shawty is a Ten" was released by Def Jam. His first solo debut album, Love Me All Summer, Hate Me All Winter was released in December of 2007 to positive reviews.
