Florida punkpop band We The Kings joined the Vans Warped Tour in 2008 scored their greatest hit so far with the single "Check Yes Juliet". The fun emo rockers site Jimmy Eat World, Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Beatles as influences, yet their sound is closer to Dashboard Confessional. The also like to make web videos and play pranks. In October 2008, We The Kings are scheduled to begin their "Bill & Trav's Bogus Journey" tour, along with The Academy Is..., Carolina Liar, and Hey Monday.
