After fiddler David Harvey left Larry Sparks & the Lonesome Ramblers in 1988, he formed Wild & Blue with his wife Jan Harvey and her sister Jill Snider. The three vocalists are joined by the rhythm section from Harvey's former band and banjo player John Smith.
