The band has three members: Chris Ross (vocals, guitar), Myles Heskett (drums, percussion), and Andrew Stockdale (keyboard, organ, bass).nnWolfmother's psychedelic style of heavy metal music is similar to that of bands like Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer from the late 60's and early 70's. Dave Sardy was the producer. Meanwhile, another EP "Dimensions" with the hit track "Mind's Eye" was released in 2006.nnThe album "Wolfmother" came out in Australia in October 2005, in the UK in April 2006 and in the US in May 2006. Its cover art is taken from a painting by Frank Frazetta called "The Sea Witch." The album has thrice secured platinum rating. It was number 3 on the Australian Charts. The band Wolfmother won the 2005 J award for the Best Australian Album of the Year from Triple J, an Australian radio network.
